For the occasion of adding a new building to the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (the Amsterdam art school) a book had to be designed on the connection between the old building (1967) and the new building (2005). Sadly the users of the new building had a lot of critiques to the new school, this couldn't be left unnoticed.
The pictures in this book are accompanied with text from a Readers Digest 'do it your self'-book from the same period of the old building. Sharing tips on how to improve you space. The front cover shows a slice of the old building, the back cover shows a slice of the new building.
