Teaching - ABC Copy Books I

In the beginning of 2009 I gave a one-week workshop at the graphic design department of HKU, in Utrecht. To accompany the assignment I made this booklet. It contains scans of some of my favorite Copy Books which was an introduction to the assignment. I asked the students to design a writing system, and make a booklet with exercises to teach the system. Although it was really a short workshop students made very nice projects. I will surely give this assignment another go when there's more time.
