At the WdKa in Rotterdam I was invited to do a workshop for their theme week Slow. I had recently finished the Doily type for Droog Design's Go Slow. Because the type is drawn by hand, it connected to the theme. They suggested to do something similar for the workshop.
I brought fine liners and made this workbook for the students to follow my way of working. The booklet provides the skeleton of a letter per page. Students were invited to start drawing patiently. On this Flickr-page and this one, you can find scans of letters made by students. In they end they all made a poster out of the letters.
'(I) use time to practise an operation.'
