Every now and then I teach at an art school. To compensate for the fact that I'm a designer and not a trained teacher, I sometimes make booklets to hand out to students. The booklets present a new assignment, give information and/or show scans of things I find useful or inspirational.
I tend to give short examples of my experiences of learning how to love type and typography. I'm not sure if it is of any educational use to share these anecdotes with students. But I like personal stories and I just try to give the students something for the road. Here you can see the booklets more specified.
